The Ice Bears with some bumps and bruises going into last weekend's pair of home games.
Defenseman Paul Lynch held out of the line-up with a medical issue, but he contributed in the stands by taking stats for the team. On Monday, coach Marc Rodgers placed Lynch on the 30-day injured reserve. Forward Tom McMonagle dressed Thursday, but saw limited - if any action - then sat out Saturday's game.
Meantime, forward Travis Hanson continues on the 30-day injured reserve - he's due back in time for Christmas week competition.
The team utilized a 3-game tryout to shore up the shortages last week by signing forward Matt Armstrong to a 3-gamer. Armstrong was held scoreless on 3 shots and accumulated 2 minutes in penalties.
Defensemen Travis Martell and Paul Lynch lead the team in the plus-minus category, both with a plus-5.
